SEASON OPENER 2010 Opening Day 2010 and days to follow saw the larger rivers of Northern NY in a state of high and dangerous water flow, wanting good opportunity at catching fish and negating the possibility of being swept away in icy cold waters I focused on smaller rivers flowing from the ADK foothills. Please look over my catch and released fish of 5 days spent nymphing and streamer fishing....landed and released 45 total wild browns , rainbows and native brookies. All fish were taken on either a #8 Ausable Ugly presented in a dead drift manner or a #4-#6 Sirloin presented very slowly and near the bottom of all fishable structure.
