Mid August Fishing
The month of August so far has seen little rain and high day time temperatures making for some tough trout fishing and good warm water fishing.
When trout fishing becomes difficult, warm species such as large mouth and small mouth are still readily feeding making for some great action.
The two young anglers pictured on the home page fished on a warm water reservoir for nearly 6 hours landed approximately 50 fish in the combination of small mouth and large mouth bass, perch, sunfish and walleye.
The trout pictured were taken on streamers and dry fly patterns with the majority of fish landed on dry flies.
