Early July Fishing

July now in full swing, the majority of Northern New York rivers will see large stone fly hatches. The fish pictured were taken on # 4 dry stonefly pattern with a dropper nymph approx. 18" under  and a dropper -  point fly dual nymphing rig incorporating a # 8 beadhead Telico - #8 Ausable Ugly, using this system, clients have racked up numbers of fish exceeding 30 per day.
